    1. cal albright Said,

His book, Final Appeal: Anatomy of a Frame purports to be Thatcher’s account of the murder of his ex-wife, JoAnn Wilson, in 1983. Thatcher, a former Saskatchewan cabinet minister and the son of an ex-premier, was convicted of the killing, but he has steadfastly denied he did it.

According to Thatcher’s publisher, the new book does not offer a solution to the crime but does raise doubt about Thatcher’s guilt.

Thatcher, 71, was paroled to the family ranch near Moose Jaw in 2006. When he was granted release, Thatcher told the National Parole Board that he wanted to live quietly out of the public eye.
